Stephen M. Russell, Sr. Of The Law Firm Of Bell, Davis & Pitt, P.A. Honored By Northwest NC Chapter Of The American Red Cross With Establishment Of Humanitarian Award In His Name

WINSTON-SALEM/CHARLOTTE (August 5, 2013) --- Stephen M. Russell, Sr., a director and attorney at the Winston-Salem-based law firm of Bell, Davis & Pitt, PA has been honored by the Northwest NC Chapter of the American Red Cross through the creation of a Humanitarian Award in his name. Russell, who has recently rotated off of the Chapter’s Board of Directors and currently serves as an honorary member, has been a long-term volunteer and Chapter leader for more than 16 years.

The Stephen M. Russell, Sr. Humanitarian Award will be given as appropriate at the discretion of the Chapter’s Board of Directors to individuals who, through their actions, reflect the essence of the Red Cross mission of providing help to those in need. The mission of the American Red Cross is to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of the volunteers and the generosity of the donors.
