Property Tax Commission Hearing Dates Thru June, 2021

The North Carolina Property Tax Commission is the court of record for property tax appeals in North Carolina. All decisions of county boards of equalization and review are appealable, de novo, to the PTC. The PTC generally meets once a month for 3 and 1/2 days, typically starting on Monday at 1pm and continuing Tuesday through Thursday, from 9am to 5pm.

Due to the pandemic, PTC hearings are being held virtually, if both parties agree. Otherwise, hearings are being postponed until live hearings are permitted. Hearing dates through June, 2021, are as follows:       

  • February 15-18, 2021 – Hearing Location: Raleigh, NC
  • March 15-18, 2021 – Hearing Location: Raleigh, NC
  • April 19-22, 2021 – Hearing Location: Raleigh, NC
  • May 17-20, 2021– Hearing Location: Raleigh, NC
  • June 14-17, 2021 – Hearing Location: Raleigh, NC
