Property Tax Commission Hearing Dates For Remainder of 2020

The North Carolina Property Tax Commission is the court of record for property tax appeals in North Carolina. All decisions of county boards of equalization and review are appealable, de novo, to the PTC. The PTC generally meets once a month for 3 and 1/2 days, typically starting on Monday at 1pm and continuing Tuesday through Thursday, from 9am to 5pm.

Due to the pandemic, PTC hearings for April, May, and June were cancelled. The PTC announced recently its hearing dates for the remainder of 2020, as follows:       

  • July 27-30, 2020 – Hearing Location: Raleigh, NC
  • August 24-27, 2020 – Hearing Location: Raleigh, NC
  • September 14-17, 2020 – Hearing Location: Raleigh, NC
  • October 5-8, 2020 – Hearing Location: Raleigh, NC
  • November 16-19, 2020 – Hearing Location: Raleigh, NC
  • December 7-10, 2020 – Hearing Location: Raleigh, NC
