NC Property Tax Commission Hearing Dates Through June, 2016

The Property Tax Commission is the state level appeal forum for property tax appeals in North Carolina. It is serves as the court of record for such appeals, i.e., it is the last chance to create a record with witness testimony and documentary evidence. All appeals thereafter are "on the record" created at the PTC and subject to limited review, i.e., a finding of either an error of law by the PTC or insufficient evidence to support the PTC decision.

The PTC meets on a monthly basis, usually for 4 days during a specified week.The PTC's schedule for October, 2015 through June, 2016 is as follows:

  • October 13-16, 2015
  • November 17-20, 2015
  • December 8-11, 2015
  • January 12-15, 2016
  • February 16-19, 2016
  • March 15-18, 2016
  • April 26-29, 2016
  • May 17-20, 2016
  • June 14-17, 2016
