WINSTON-SALEM -- (July 15, 2013) --- John A. Cocklereece, Jr., a director and attorney in the Winston-Salem-based law firm of Bell, Davis & Pitt, PA has been appointed to the Ethics and Grievance Committee of the 21st Judicial District Bar of North Carolina. He will serve a three-year term.
A native of Greensboro, Cocklereece has practiced law in Winston-Salem for more than 30 years, concentrating in general business representation, IRS, state and property tax controversies, and estate planning and administration matters. Along with fellow Bell, Davis & Pitt attorney Justin Hardy, Cocklereece publishes the North Carolina Property Tax Monitor, a blog dedicated to discussing issues related to North Carolina property tax law.
