Winston-Salem/Charlotte, NC, (May 14, 2013) – Joan M. Bergman has joined the law firm of Bell, Davis & Pitt, PA. She will be based in the firm’s Winston-Salem office and her practice will concentrate on real estate, financial services and economic development matters.
Bergman received her undergraduate degree in political science from Loyola College in Baltimore (1994). She is a 1997 JD graduate of the Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Bell, Davis & Pitt, Bergman was an attorney in the Greensboro office of Nexsen Pruet, where her practice concentrated in real estate and economic development matters. She is a member of the NC Economic Developers’ Association and the NC Bar Association’s Real Property Section. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the Piedmont Triad Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and on the Central NC Chapter Board of Trustees for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
