This season marks the inaugural season of Timothy Redmond, the symphony's new music director, at the podium. Redmond was selected after a competitive music conductor search, which culminated with five conductors vying for the position last season. Redmond, who comes from the UK, has been heralded throughout Europe for his dynamic orchestral and operatic interpretations.
