Two Attorneys Join Firm's Charlotte Office

Charlotte Office Continues Expansion

Bell, Davis & Pitt today announced that it has added two partners, Marc E. Gustafson and Lacey Moore Duskin, in its Charlotte office.

“As we continue to grow our Charlotte office and client base, we are thrilled to welcome Marc and Lacey to our team,” says Ward Davis, who helped open the firm’s Charlotte office in 2004. “With Charlotte being one of the fastest growing cities in the country, we have seen our clients’ legal needs increasing, and are excited to expand our capacity to serve the Charlotte business community. Marc and Lacey are perfect fits for our team, offering personal, hands-on service as we work with our clients to address and resolve their needs.  We take great pride in our personal relationships with our clients, and Lacey and Marc will help us strengthen and grow those relationships in the Charlotte region, throughout North Carolina, and beyond.”

Marc Gustafson has 17 years of litigation experience and concentrates his practice on employment law, commercial disputes, and mediation. Marc has represented individuals, executives, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies in non-compete matters, contract disputes, business breakups, and a variety of matters. Marc is also a certified mediator with the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission.

“After clerking for Bell, Davis & Pitt some 18 years ago, I am excited to return to practice with such a great group of lawyers that are dedicated to their clients, each other, and our community,” says Marc.

Lacey Moore Duskin has 15 years of litigation experience. Lacey’s diverse litigation practice includes complex business litigation, products liability, toxic tort litigation, construction law, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, distressed credit, curative title issues, and intellectual property protection.

Lacey says, “Bell, Davis & Pitt is a stellar, client-focused law firm. I am excited to be joining this great team in the expanded Charlotte office, and look forward to using my experience to further serve our clients.”

Bell, Davis & Pitt has added five new attorneys to its Charlotte office since February 2016, and expanded its presence in the Carillon Building last year, more than doubling the size of its previous space.
