Super Lawyers Recognizes Fourteen Firm Attorneys

Super Lawyers magazine has recognized fourteen Bell, Davis, and Pitt attorneys for 2017. This year’s honorees represent six distinct practice areas, and include attorneys from both the Winston-Salem and Charlotte branches.  Colleen Byers, Andrew Freeman, and Mark Jones were named North Carolina Rising Stars.

The Super Lawyers selection process is highly rigorous.  Candidates are nominated by a survey of managing partners, peer nominations, third party feedback, and the Super Lawyers research team.  Candidates are then evaluated according to twelve factors, including verdicts and settlements, experience, pro bono and community service, and bar or professional activity. Super Lawyers makes final selections using a patented peer evaluation process.  Only five percent of attorneys are selected for the list.

BD&P attorneys selected for North Carolina's Super Lawyers for 2017 were: Edward B. Davis, Jason B. James, Daniel C. Bruton, D. Anderson Carmen, John A. Cocklereece Jr., William K. Davis, James R. Fox, Walter W. Pitt Jr., Alan M. Ruley, Robin J. Stinson, Kevin G. Williams, Colleen L. Byers, Andrew A. Freeman, and Mark A. Jones.
