This past weekend attorneys and their families gathered for a Saturday retreat to welcome to the firm our two 2017 summer clerks, Matthew Hoyt and Kyle Heuser.
Matthew recently completed his second year at the Wake Forest University School of Law and received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the College of Charleston. He has spent previous summers working in the Wake County Public Defender's Office and clerking for various other firms.
Kyle recently completed his second year at the Wake Forest University School of Law and received his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Florida. He has previously worked as a research assistant for Professor John Knox at the Wake Forest University School of Law as well as interning with various other firms.
During the retreat, attorneys and their families braved cliffs and 667 steps to hike to the top of More’s Knob. Later in the afternoon, the group (along with a few canine friends) traveled to Hanging Rock Lake for swimming and a picnic.
We are pleased to have Matthew and Kyle working with the firm this summer.
