Bell, Davis & Pitt is pleased to announce that Jason B. James, a director in the firm’s Charlotte office, has been elected to the 2024 Class of the Mecklenburg County Bar’s (MCB) Board of Directors.
Jason has developed a strong commercial and construction litigation practice over the past 20 years, which is complemented by his mediation work as a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, an invitation-only professional association whose membership consists of highly regarded mediators and arbitrators.
“We are proud of the dedication Jason has shown to our firm, the Mecklenburg County Bar, and the practice of law. We know he will represent the interests of the MCB members well during his time on the Board of Directors," said Ward Davis, chair of the firm’s Litigation Section and Charlotte office founding partner.
Jason firmly believes in the importance of giving back to both the legal community and the greater Charlotte community. He has a long history of service to both the Mecklenburg County Bar and North Carolina Bar Association. He is a past chair of the Mecklenburg County Bar Litigation Section as well as the Professionalism, Lawyer Life and Culture Committee.
The mission of the Mecklenburg County Bar is to serve the public and the Bar members in improving and preserving the administration of justice and to assist the North Carolina State Bar as described by statutory requirements.
