Bell, Davis, and Pitt is supporting a collection drive for H.O.P.E. of Winston-Salem. Ben Tennille, a retired judge, and his wife Marty founded H.O.P.E of Winston-Salem to provide healthy meals to children at risk for hunger. The program has distributed over 80,000 meals to Winston-Salem children. Meals are delivered on Sundays, the only day not covered by the federal lunch program or the backpack program.
Colleen Byers, who serves on the Advisory Board of the Chamber of Commerce’s Winston < 40, and Michael Myers, who serves on the Board of H.O.P.E., are facilitating the collection drive. Colleen, Michael, and the rest of the firm are joining with H.O.P.E to provide nutritious meals to the children of our community. These efforts are especially important during the summer, when many children lose access to school lunches.
