Bell, Davis & Pitt is proud to co-present the 2019/2020 season of the Winston-Salem Symphony, along with BB&T Wealth. This season marks the inaugural season of Timothy Redmond, the symphony's new music director, at the podium.
Redmond was selected after a competitive music conductor search, which culminated with five conductors vying for the position last season. Redmond, who comes from the UK, has been heralded throughout Europe for his dynamic orchestral and operatic interpretations.
The season kicked off with a sold-out performance featuring the Indigo Girls. Redmond will take the baton for the first time in his official new role during Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring concerts, held Oct. 27 & 29. The lineup for the rest of the season is varied and dynamic, ranging from John Williams: Star Wars & Beyond and Wagner's Ring to guest artist Béla Fleck performing with the symphony. Bell, Davis & Pitt is pleased to support arts and culture in the local communities where the firm's team members live, work and play.
