To welcome to the firm our two summer clerks, Rachel Opelinger and James King, this past weekend attorneys and their families gathered for a Saturday retreat.
Rachel Opelinger completed recently her second year at the Wake Forest University School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Richmond and has clerked at Katten, Muchin, & Rosenman LLP.
James King, from the University of North Carolina School of Law, has previously clerked in the District Attorney’s Office in Wilmington, NC. James assists with the Pro Bono Program at the UNC School of Law.
During the retreat, attorneys and their families braved cliffs and 667 steps to hike to the top of More’s Knob. Later in the afternoon, thr group (along with a few canine friends) traveled to Hanging Rock Lake for swimming and a picnic.
Please join us in welcoming Rachel and James to the firm!
