The Winston-Salem Foundation attracts over 1,000 community members each year to their annual Community Luncheon to honor community builders and learn more about emerging topics in the community. Jamie Vollmer served as keynote speaker at this May 4, 2016, event, as a thought—provoking advocate of public education. Given the recently announced Peer Project, a $2 million commitment to supporting professional development for educators, Jamie’s topic coincided with the Foundation’s commitment to the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School system.
Bell, Davis & Pitt was a Community Supporter of this event as they continue to support the Winston-Salem community. There are various ways to lend a helping hand to the public schools and advocate for extended learning options, staff development, instructional support and ultimately improving student outcomes by supporting the Winston-Salem Foundation.
