Winston-Salem/Charlotte, NC, (July 15, 2015) – Walter W. (Wrennie) Pitt, Jr., attorney and director of the law firm of Bell, Davis & Pitt, PA, has been appointed to the North Carolina Bar Association Foundation’s (NCBA) Endowment Committee. The NCBA’s Endowment Committee serves the Association’s members, the legal profession and the public through the evaluation of grant requests made to the NCBA Endowment Fund Board of Directors and overseeing the implementation of approved grants to ensure effective use of funds and the successful completion of grant projects. The NCBA Foundation Endowment has awarded more than $5 million in grants for legally-related service projects statewide.
Pitt is a founding director of the law firm of Bell, Davis & Pitt, PA, which was formed in 1980. He is a 1971 graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Law and a former officer of the Board of Governors of the North Carolina Bar Association.
