Winston-Salem and Charlotte, NC (October 30, 2013) – Frank M. Bell, Jr., one of the founding directors of the Winston-Salem based law firm of Bell, Davis & Pitt, PA, has been honored, along with other long-tenured attorneys, by the NC Bar for passing his fiftieth year in the practice of law in North Carolina. Bell’s practice is concentrated in the areas of real estate and corporate law.
Bell, who received his L.L.B. from the School of Law at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1963, began his private practice as an attorney in Winston-Salem in 1965. In 1980, he, along with William Kearns Davis and Walter W. (Wrennie) Pitt, Jr., formed Bell, Davis & Pitt.
Earning a wealth of professional honors throughout his career, Bell’s most recent recognitions include selection by his peers in 2011 as the “Best in Real Estate,” as recognized by Business North Carolina magazine’s Legal Elite and selection as Best Lawyers® Lawyer of the Year in Real Estate Law in 2013 for the Greensboro/Winston-Salem metropolitan area.
