Winston-Salem/Charlotte, NC, (June 4, 2013) – Alan M. Ruley, a director and shareholder in the law firm of Bell, Davis & Pitt, P.A., has been selected for membership in the International Association of Defense Attorneys (IADC). IADC is an international organization of approximately 2,500 peer-reviewed attorneys from all 50 states and 35 foreign countries. Its members practice primarily in the areas of corporate and insurance counseling and litigation.
Ruley has also been named chairman of the Commercial Litigation Practice Group for the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys. NCADA is a separate, independent state organization that provides educational, networking and information-sharing opportunities for more than 1,000 North Carolina civil defense attorneys, whose practices range from general liability, workers’ compensation and medical malpractice defense to product liability, commercial litigation, labor and employment, construction, and local government law.
