Demitra Sourlis practices in Bell Davis & Pitt’s litigation section.
Demitra joined Bell Davis & Pitt after graduating from law school in 2014. She was previously a summer law clerk with the firm.
Demitra’s practice is primarily focused in complex business and commercial litigation, including:
- Construction defects
- Trade secret litigation
- Unfair competition and unfair and deceptive trade practices
- Professional malpractice
- Products liability
Demitra serves on the programming committee for the Justice Bobbitt Inn of Court in Charlotte. She is a volunteer with the Counsel for Children’s Rights, and is a member of the Young Lawyer’s Division and the Charlotte Women’s Attorney groups. She has participated in the Mecklenburg County Bar Association Softball League, and is involved in the Greek Orthodox community in Charlotte.
Demitra was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her undergraduate degree from Duke University, where she was a member of the Duke Dancing Devils dance team, and her law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. She enjoys dance and playing the piano.
